Our Story

Adolescence is a complex period of physical and mental transformation for an individual. It is a time of a hundred thousand questions and confusions. Along with the insecurity that comes with being a teenage girl, menstruation is another big problem that she faces during these years. I was one of them. I grew up in a nuclear family and, like any other girl, I had my share of menstrual problems. As I grew older, the problems changed, but the mental and physical stress caused by my period never went away. As this is a big problem for women, there are very few options available to them in society. So even if the available facilities cause problems, they don’t have the option to choose another one. I was one of them. It was during this time that I heard about menstrual cups (MC) and bought one from abroad. At first, I was nervous, but I decided to try it. I can say that nothing has surprised me so much in recent times. This was the perfect solution to a big problem that I had been experiencing since my teenage years. All my days thereafter became normal. This gave me great excitement. It became my necessity that every woman should be able to experience the same freedom that I did. This is how I Am Lady MC came into being. When I told my husband about this, he supported me fully. We did a lot of research and checked 50 MCs that are available in India today. But the result was not entirely satisfactory. We wanted MCs that were available in India to be of the same quality as those available abroad. We also wanted a worthy brand so that it could be carried safely and proudly presented to someone else. We discussed many things and then built a team to match our vision. It was a complete success. This is how I Am Lady MC came into being.
